一般・スポーツ整形外科を専門とする地域に根付いた診療所の増築計画です。敷地周辺は中低層の住宅地である一方、前面の道路は交通量が多く、ロードサイド的な風景が広がっています。
階ごとに機能が異なり、望ましい階高も異なります。そこで各階を小さな箱に分割し、ずらして積みあげた構成とすることで、建築を街並みにあわせた住宅スケールにしました。箱どうしのずれた箇所にはトップライトを設け、光が差し込みます。最上階は交流の場として利用できる箱で、金網が街に柔らかな印象を与えます。道路に対して表情をつくり、医院のアイデンティティとしました。

This is an expansion project for a community-based clinic specializing in general and sports orthopedics. While the site is surrounded by a low-to-medium residential area, the road in front of the building is busy and has a roadside landscape.
Each floor has a different function and a different desired floor height. Therefore, we divided each floor into small boxes and stacked them in a staggered configuration to make the building scale with the cityscape. The boxes are stacked on top of each other to allow light to penetrate through the gaps between the boxes. The top floor is a box that can be used as a place for interaction, and the wire mesh gives a soft impression to the town. The wire mesh gives a soft impression to the city. The expression is created against the street and becomes the identity of the clinic.
