埼玉県の久喜駅近くの静かな住宅地の中にある、美味しいスペシャルティコーヒーを提供するカフェの内装計画です。
開放的な間口から落ち着いた奥へとグラデーショナルに変わる空間では、コーヒーとの過ごし方も自ずと場所ごとに変わってくる。
そんな現象を受け入れてくれるような、ベンチ・コーヒーテーブル・ラウンドテーブルがひとつながりになった、のびやかな家具を壁沿いにつくりました。
一方で、素材を楽しむスペシャルティコーヒーを空間として表現するため、既存の内装は残せるものは残しつつ、新設する素材は合板・タイル・フレキシブルボードとできるだけシンプルにしました。
のびやかな家具の一番奥は、ぼんやりと全体を見渡せる特等席。
軒先のベンチはひとつながりの家具の端っこであり、街と店との結節点。
行灯のような、静かな住宅地の中でよりどころになるような場所を目指しました。

This is the interior design project of a cafe offering delicious specialty coffee, nestled in a quiet residential area near Kuki Station.
The space transitions gradually from an open front area to a calmer rear section. Naturally, the way you enjoy your coffee changes depending on where you sit.
Along the walls, we created expansive furniture that flows seamlessly—a combination of benches, coffee tables, and round tables—designed to embrace this phenomenon.
Meanwhile, for the interior, we preserved what we could while keeping new materials as simple as possible: plywood, tile, and flexible board.
The farthest point of this flowing furniture is a prime seat offering a gentle, sweeping view of the whole space.
The bench under the eaves is the edge of this continuous furniture piece, serving as a junction between the street and the shop.
We aimed to create a place that feels like a lantern—a quiet, reliable anchor within the residential neighborhood.
